The suspected New York City attacker, Sayfullo Saipov, was probed by Department of Homeland Security agents back in 2015 for his alleged links to terrorists, ABC reported.
According to the report, Saipov was connected to two men who showed on the Counterterrorism and Criminal Exploitation Unit’s list of possible terrorists.
