Public Security Minister Gilad Erdan announced Tuesday at a ceremony honoring Border Police and Jerusalem police the establishment of a new police unit to secure Temple Mount.
The new unit in its initial stages will be part of the David sector of the police and will secure order and welfare of visitors to the Temple Mount.
