MK Hilik Bar(Zionist Union) discussed with Arutz Sheva the expected absence of his colleague Zouheir Bahloul from the special Knesset session marking 100 years since the Balfour declaration.
"Zouheir must understand that he is part of the framework of a Zionist party, which believes in the Zionist idea and that this idea includes minorities who live as equals in the state of Israel," Bar said.
Yet Bar expressed understanding of Bahloul's stance, stating that "I imagine that Zouheir is not a great Zionist and does not feel committed to the matter and if he wishes to boycott the session that's his decision."
