Member of Knesset Eyal Ben Reuven (Zionist Union) has responded Minister Naftali Bennett's attack on the Israel Defense Forces' Spokesperson for making it clear that Monday's destruction of a Gaza terror tunnel was not intended to kill terrorists.
The retired general said, "I suggest that Minister Bennett lower the flames of war. The IDF did right when it made it clear that the destruction of the tunnel was not a targeted assassination. The action was absolutely justified. We must act forcefully against those who threaten the State of Israel with terror, but without overzealousness, without creating fire from irresponsible words and with discretion."
