About two months after Avi Roeh announced his resignation as chairman, the Yesha Council of Jewish communities in Judea and Samaria met today to discuss the recommendations of the Search Committee for a new chairman.
After a lengthy discussion it was agreed that at the end of the week, candidates from among the members of the council would be selected. Recently it was claimed that the job was offered to Effie Eitam, former minister and chairman of the National Religious Party, which has become the Jewish Home Party.
