The president of the Kurdistan region, Massoud Barzani, said last night that "it is impossible to erase the referendum" on the independence of the region that took place recently.
Barzani, who announced that he would complete his term on Wednesday, added that "the referendum was aimed at finding a peaceful solution to the problems with the Iraqi administration."
