Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu met in Jerusalem on Thursday with United States Treasury Secretary Stephen Mnuchin, who is on a tour of the Middle East to promote the fight against terror financing.
Netanyahu expessed gratitude to the Trump administration for its economic support, noting that cooperation between the governments and private sectors of the two countries is a pillar of Israel's economic strength.
Mnuchin said he was excited to be here and hoped for many more official visits.
