A senior police officer was indicted Wednesday for allegedly accepting bribes. According to the indictment, Israel Police Chief Superintendent Shachar Yisraeli did not prosecute driving violations committed by drivers from the Dan transportation company in exchange for the company employing Yisraeli's wife and providing free transportation to the police.
