The Public Affairs Committee met to discuss preparations for the anniversary of Rachel Imenu's death in a few days time.
MK Yisrael Eichler(UTJ) explained that "the goal of this session is to ensure that worshipers enter Rachel's tomb in the safest possible way, without creating traffic jams. It is also meant to ensure that excessive traffic will be dealt with by the officials responsible in the most effective way."
