On Wednesday, Member of Knesset Michal Rozin (Meretz) will propose a bill to repeal the law to commemorate Rechavam Ze'evi (Gandhi), the tourism minister who was murdered by terrorists 16 years ago. The proposal to vote is in addition to the party's decision to boycott the special Knesset session in his memory.

Rozin cited Ze'evi's politics in addition to charges of sexual harassment that came up in the past year. Yesterday, Ze'evi's daughter told Yediot Ahronot she had sympathy for every woman who might have been hurt but challenged the belated nature of the charges. She also took school principals to task for what she called hypocrisy in not observing the anniversary of the assassination while sending students to the Land of Israel Museum her father founded.
