Former Knesset Member Michael Ben Ari, chairman of the Otzma Yehudit (Jewish Power) party, told Arutz Sheva on Monday that the Sunday-night report of Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu's intention to lower the threshold for parties to enter the Knesset is no more than a spin. He called it an attempt to shake the foundations of several parties in the coalition to show them that they have something to fear," adding, "He just wants to send a message to the coalition partners, that just as he needs them, they need him."

Ben-Ari declared that Jewish Power" will agree to alliances but will also run alone. "What is happening right now is that the big parties are trying to swallow us. From my point of view, there is no choice but to deal. I'm losing time and money and I know I'm not sure I'm going in but I'm not willing to shut up in the name of this obsession."
