The Jerusalem District Court is currently deliberating the appeal filed by the police against the release of Bentzi Gopstein to house arrest.
The chairman of the Lehava anti-assimilation organization was arrested early yesterday morning on suspicion of making threats and the Jerusalem Magistrates Court ordered his release to house arrest after it found the evidence against to be weak.
