Afghanistan: 43 soldiers killed in terrorist attack

At least 43 Afghan soldiers were killed in the late-Wednesday-evening explosion of two car bombs at an army base in Kandahar province in the south of the country.

The Taliban resistance movement said it was behind the terrorist attack.
