President Donald Trump tweeted on Wednesday that former FBI Director James Comey "totally protected Clinton" after new documents were released that showed Comey wrote his statement clearing Clinton for using a private email server two months before the probe ended.
“Wow, FBI confirms report that James Comey drafted letter exonerating Crooked Hillary Clinton long before investigation was complete,” tweeted Trump. “Many people not interviewed, including Hillary Clinton herself. Comey stated under oath that he didn’t do this –obviously a fix? Where is Justice Dept?”
