The Civil Administration for Judea and Samaria's Supreme Planning Council has approved the submission of a building plan in the Hevron Hills Jewish community of Negohot, which will allow the construction of another 60 housing units there.
Chairman Yochai Damri of the Hevron Hills Council responded by saying, "This is an important and welcome step under the leadership of Prime Minister Netanyahu, who continues the legacy of Menachem Begin, who passed a government decision in 1981 on the establishment of Negohot with 250 housing units." He added, "Today, 20 years after it was populated, the community, located at an important strategic point, we are advancing another stage of normalization and equal rights for the citizens of Judea and Samaria."
