Intelligence work by Israeli police led to the arrest of four illegal weapon possession suspects on the eve of the Simhat Torah festival.
The four hid a pistol near a sukkah in Bernitzki St. , Rishon Letzion. Police initiated a search and discovered a 9mm pistol hidden near the sukkah.
A 51-year-old suspect was released to house arrest and the others were brought to the Rishon Letzion Magistrates court and remanded in custody for four days.
The police investigation continues.
