Police received a report on the eve of the Simhat Torah festival about two men who had attacked a security guard at the Assaf HaRofeh hospital.

A police patrol arrived at the scene, arrested the two suspects in the attack, a 53-year-old from Or Yehuda and a 44-year-old from Bnei Brak, and took them to a police station for investigation.

The investigation revealed that the two suspects had a dispute with medical staff at the hospital and a security guard who was called in to calm matters was allegedly attacked by the suspects.

The suspects were brought to the Rishon Letzion magistrates court after the festival and were released to house arrest for four days.
