An estimated 22,500 worshipers arrived in the Jewish community of Hebron on Monday to celebrate the Sukkot holiday and visit the Tomb of the Patriarchs.

In addition, it was possible for about 1,000 visitors to enter the tomb of Otniel Ben Kenaz. The event was secured by the Israel Defense Forces, Border Guards and the Israel Police. The joint efforts of the forces and increased defense in the area and on the roads enabled the event to take place without any unusual events. The thousands of visitors returned home safely.
