The Al-Quds Al-Arabi daily reports that the round of talks between Fatah and Hamas starting today in Cairo will last three days and be extended if necessary.
It was also reported that the centerpiece of the reconciliation talks would be the payment of salaries to Gaza officials whom Hamas appointed after its takeover and the control of the unity government over crossings. However, the issue of weapons belonging to Hamas is not expected to come up in this round.
