The Binyamin region north and west of Jerusalem has played host to thousands of visitors for its Biblical Heroes Festival during the Sukkot holiday.
Benjamin Tourism Marketing Manager Asaf Lasner told Arutz Sheva that the festival is built around six heroes at six sites, starting with Joshua bin Nun in the Giv'at Hayekevim (Vineyard Hill) in the Talmonim area. Other heroes and their sites are Hannah in Shilo, Elisha in Cochav Hashachar, Abraham in Elon, Samuel in Psagot and Shaara bat Efraim in Beit Horon. He said, "Alongside these sites will be close to thirty other sites with activities and attractions" for the whole family.
