Members of the family of fallen soldier Oron Shaul, whose remains are being held by Hamas in Gaza, have demanded that the state appoint a replacement for Col. Lior Lotan who resigned his position as the government coordinator on prisoners and missing soldiers.
The family claim that "the state of Israel is acting with disrespect towards IDF soldiers who go out to fight for their country. The fact that no replacement has been appointed demonstrates negligence on the part of the government."
