Spain's Interior Ministry announced on Sunday that three people had been arrested during the clashes over the referendum on the independence of Catalonia, according to Reuters.
It was also reported that 12 policemen were among the 460 injured during the clashes in the autonomous region and that 92 polling stations were closed in their wake.
