Prime Minister Netanyahu opened the weekly cabinet meeting by congratulating those responsible for the agreements reached with disabled persons associations on the eve of Yom Kippur.
Netanyahu termed the agreement a 'historic' agreement, which involves a significant increase in pensions, beginning in January.
Netanyahu said that the agreement would cost 4.2 billion NIS and stated that this was a 50% increase on what the state has been paying disabled persons.
