Dudi Sela, the Israeli tennis player who stopped in the middle of a professional game and left because Yom Kippur was starting, has suffered criticsm for his decision, as well as significant financial loss.
Dudi's brother Ofer says that Dudi does not fast on Yom Kippur and is not religious in any sense but out of respect for Yom Kippur and the state which he represents he decided not to continue playing.
