President Reuven Rivlin said on Thursday, "In coordination with the Ministry of Justice and the Prisons Service, I am considering the possibility of promoting a special pardon for the seventieth anniversary of the state of Israel"
The announcement followed a visit to the Tzalmon and Hermon prisons.
