The UN envoy to the Middle East, Nikolai Mladenov, condemned the attack near Har Adar in which a border policeman and two security guards were murdered.
Mladenov said that "it is very upsetting to see that attacks led by Hamas continue and are praised. This harms and prevents the opportunity to attain peace between Israel and the Palestinians. All violence must be condemned."
