Police arrested a Haifa resident for the deadly hit-and-run that killed a one-year-old toddler in southern Israel on Sunday. Police have requested that the Beer Sheva District Court extend his arrest.
Police said that "escaping from the scene of an accident after hurting someone and letting him die is a very serious offense and we will act by all means at our disposal to prosecute him to the fullest extent of the law."
