Police have arrested two senior officials of the Health Ministry and two customs agents on suspicion of receiving bribes from an importer to promote and approve the import of food additives to athletes without conducting the required tests.
This is a development in an investigation that was revealed a week ago, in which the manager of the quarantine station in Ashdod port and an importer of food additives were arrested.
