The parole board has authorized Rabbi Eliezer Berland to fly on Rosh Hashana to Uman in the Ukraine, according to Channel 2 Television.
Rabbi Berland, who was convicted in a plea bargain for sex offenses, was released from prison last May and ordered to remain in a hospice for the remainder of his 18-month sentence.
