Carter pessimistic about Trump's peace efforts

Former U.S. President Jimmy Carter on Tuesday said he did not believe that President Donald Trump can engineer Middle East peace.

Speaking at the Carter Center in Atlanta, the former President said he is "practically hopeless" that anything Trump comes up with would give "justice to the Palestinians."

He also criticized Prime Minister Binyamin Netenyahu and said he has "no intention at all of having a two-state solution."
