Tens of haredi demonstrators rioted on Nahar Hayarden street in Beit Shemesh in the wake of efforts by local authorities to remove posters hanging in the streets.
The rioters tried to block the street and threw stones at police, damaging a police van at the site. Police arrested one suspect.
At present quiet has been restored and police are present at the scene.
