Unemployment rates dropped by 1.2% in August as compared to the month of July, after seasonal employment was taken into account.
The sharpest decrease was registered among those requesting low income benefits with a 2.7% drop from 77,700 to 75,600.
The director of the Employment Service said that the data released demonstrated that there has been an improvement in employment opportunities in the economy.
