President Reuven Rivlin attacked Thursday on his Facebook page the proposed closure of Channel 20 due to its not maintaining the conditions of its license.
Rivlin said that the closure would "cast a pall over Israeli democracy" and added that "the regulatory considerations are important but more important is the democratic discussion and exposure to a wide range of views and opinions."
