President Reuven Rivlin will leave on Monday for Germany on a state visit during which he is scheduled to meet with Chancellor Angela Merkel and counterpart Frank-Walter Steinmeier.
This is Rivlin's second visit to Germany and this will be his second meeting with Merkel. Their meeting is scheduled for Thursday and diplomatic sources believe Israel's purchase of submarines from German company Thyssenkrupp will be discussed.
