The Jerusalem District Attorney's Office has informed the attorney of former Prime Minister's Office employee, Meni Naftali, that if Naftali testifies in court regarding alleged improprieties in the running of the Prime Minister's Residence, he would be immune from self-incrimination.

A prosecutor said that the agreement is very similar to a state's witness agreement. Naftali's attorney said that "Mr. Naftali is not a state witness and he was not a state witness... and will not serve as a state witness...."
