Driver licenses and car licenses can now be obtained in any one of the 700 post offices around Israel, after registration services were broadened by the Transportation Ministry Sunday.
Transport Minister Yisrael Katz stated that issuing licenses in post offices will significantly improve service to the public and reduce backlog at licensing offices. It will also save drivers costly time spent waiting at these offices.
