The Hillel Yaffe Medical Center in Hadera has received a special donation in honor of the new year - 18 wheelchairs donated by the Habad youth organization.
Many of those treated at the hospital require wheelchairs for various reasons. The donation by the Habad youth organization was coordinated by Habad emissary Rabbi Shneur Maatouf, who himself volunteers at the hospital.
At a modest ceremony the vice administrative director of the hospital, Mrs. Drora Ben Michael, thanked Habad representatives for their important donation and stressed that the hospital always needs more wheelchairs.
