The heads of the Land of Israel caucus, MK Yoav Kisch(Likud) and MK Betzalel Smotrich(Jewish Home) sent an urgent letter to ministers in the wake of the multi-year plan for infrastructure development in Israel. The plan states that just 1% of budgets will be allocated to Judea and Samaria.
"As far as the information is correct, the sums do not correspond to the area or to the size of the population, and certainly not to the state of the infrastructure in Judea and Samaria, which is old and poor. Such an attitude towards Judea and Samaria does not suit a nationalist government which wants these areas to flourish. We request that you verify this information and correct the unreasonable proportion of allocations [to Judea and Samaria] and that you should not authorize the plan until this matter is corrected."
