20 multirotor drones were distributed to police around Israel for combating criminal activity. Police plan to provide every police station with a drone and stressed that specific guidelines will be given for protecting privacy.
The new drone unit will help police enforcement against crime, aid security activity and help maintain public order. The drones will complement police helicopters and will be activated by the police air unit.
