The governor of Texas, Greg Abbott, estimated on Wednesday that the state would require more than $125 billion from the U.S. government as it recovers from the damage caused by tropical storm Harvey.
Earlier, the National Hurricane Center announced that Harvey was expected to weaken within 12 hours.
