A Hamas spokesperson condemned UN Secretary General António Guterres for visiting Israel this past week. "His visit is suspicious in light of Israel's continuing siege on Gaza and the damage Israel does to the Palestinian people and their holy sites" said the spokesperson.
He added that "Guterres has no excuse for ignoring the plight of the sick, the homeless, and the houses Israel has destroyed."
