The funeral for General Yitzhak Pundak, who passed away at the age of 104, will be on Monday at 5:00 pm in the Kibbutz Nitzanim cemetery.
Pundak finished his career in the Israel Defense Forces as governor of Gaza Strip and the northern Sinai, and will be laid to rest in a full military ceremony. The IDF Spokesman said that "The IDF salutes (retired) General Yitzhak Pundak of blessed memory for his work, his legacy and his long-standing contribution to Israel's security."
