The family of Lieutenant Hadar Goldin, whose body is being held by Hamas in Gaza, has reacted harshly to the cabinet's decision to open the Rafah crossing between Gaza and Egypt on a regular basis immediately after the Muslim festival of Eid Al-Adha, which starts on the evening of August 31st and runs through September 4th.

Referring to the lack of visible progress in the return of Goldin's body, the family said, "The decision to allow the permanent opening of the Rafah crossing for the first time since the end of Operation Protective Edge is a moral and moral failure, because this is a clear humanitarian issue."
