US President Donald Trump referred to the incident in which an American destroyer collided with a cargo ship east of Singapore.
"Thoughts & prayers are w/ our @USNavy sailors aboard the #USSJohnSMcCain where search & rescue efforts are underway," he tweeted.
10 sailors were declared missing and another 5 injured in the accident.
