Police arrested two Lod youths on suspicion of attempted rape and sodomy of a 15-year-old girl. The two will be brought to the Tel Aviv Magistrates Court for extension of their remand.
The girl, who lives in Jaffa, met one of the suspects a month ago via an internet application. While she was spending time with her family at the Reef beach in Jaffa on Saturday, she met the youth and his friend. According to suspicions the two took the girl to a hidden place nearby and one attempted to rape her while the other served as a lookout against intruders.
