Police spokeswoman Merav Lapidot said that Labor party member Eldad Yaniv had been arrested on the way to demonstrate outside the Attorney-General's home because he encouraged people on Facebook to go out and demonstrate despite the police prohibition against demonstrating.
Lapidot added in a Channel 10 interview that "he refused to accept release conditions, we wanted to release him and he refused not to violate the law in the next ten days."
