The Tel Aviv District Court has rejected Member of Knesset Shelly Yachimovich's petition to cancel the results of the Histadrut Labor Federation's leadership elections, in which Avi Nissenkorn defeated her, and ruled that only the Histadrut's judicial authority is the body authorized to hear claims regarding the election results.

The court further ruled that Zionist Union lawmaker and her Habayit Hahevrati (The Social House) faction's suspicion of bias on the part of the judicial authority was baseless, and ordered them to pay 20,000 shekels in costs.
