The Interministerial Committee from the Ministries of Finance and Health will recommend the export of medical cannabis.
The committee explained in its recommendations, "There seems to be economic potential for exporting cannabis, and Israel has many advantages in terms of advanced regulation, research and development, clinical experience and climate that can be used by farmers, researchers and entrepreneurs to create markets for Israeli medical cannabis products."
