Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro said on Friday he wants to hold a face-to-face meeting with U.S. President Donald Trump.
Speaking to the new constituent assembly in the country, Maduro said he wanted "a personal conversation" when the two leaders attend the UN General Assembly in New York next month. Trump recently imposed sanctions on Maduro.
