Iran's intelligence ministry says its forces have detained 27 terrorists linked to the Islamic State group who planned to carry out terrorist operations in religious cities inside the Islamic Republic, according to Associated Press.
The ministry's website said on Monday that the terrorists were identified during an exchange of intelligence with colleagues in the region, ahead of President Hassan Rouhani's inauguration on Saturday.
